yee-aaa-hhh

ok, so i didn't finish my nyc pics. they STILL have yet to be uploaded. you choose:
1. i'm a slacka
2. i'm insanely busy
3. a little bit of both
alas, i must move on to our next trip. justin and i had a fabulous weekend in the adirondacks with our good friends chris and heather. there is something so divine and marvelous about the adirondacks. we once met a trucker who said he's been everywhere in the country and concluded the adirondacks are the best, in his words "God's country." as justin and i lay on a rock as big as our queen size bed looking up at the night sky filled with twinkling stars listening to loons call, that very thought crossed my mind, this is God's country.
"You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you." Nehemiah 9:6

on my life to do list is to become a 46er. [46er = one who hikes the 46 high peaks of the adirondacks]. this past weekend, we hiked our first 2 high peaks! it was totally rad awesome. i loved it. it poured for much of our hike, but that is so way better than heat and humidity. a recap of our trip...
