..week 21..

sweet baby...
this has been a busy, busy summer and i'm not doing as well keeping up with pictures and posts as i'd like to! i'm finally showing enough that strangers are starting to ask me when i'm due. you move lots and i can actually see my belly move. i have been feeling quite good, although i still get pretty tired. your daddy bought me these rain boots for my birthday. i look forward to days when we can jump in the rain puddles together!

what an amazing week! we had our first ultrasound and it was so, so amazing to see you! as soon as i saw your little spine appear on the screen tears sprang to my eyes. it is just so incredible that you are growing in my belly. your dad was by my side and we kept glancing at each other grinning like giddy school kids. you were such a little wiggle worm the technician was having problems getting good pictures. right after the ultrasound we went and got ice cream. it was a pretty warm day, so we stood under the tree in the shade and we couldn't stop talking about you. later that evening we had dinner at margarita's then went for a walk in the county park. a perfect day. we just can't wait to meet you!
